My Caliber was just returned from a Dodge dealership in northern Virginia because the drivers side floor boards front and back were wet, A few months ago after a heavy rain there was an inch of water on the floor of the drivers side back seat. We figured maybe a window had been left partly open and thought nothing more of it. After rain last week it was damp again. The dealership said the ac drain tube was clogged. It was blown out and unkinked. I mentioned to the service rep about the inch of water and she said the ac tube would not put that much water into the car and that the problems were not related. I did some further research on the Internet and it sounds like a clooged ac drain would give you water on the passenger side.

My question is should I take it back into the dealership? They said they ran water on the car for 40 minutes and saw no water. Thanks.

Most common leak areas are around the winshield, and sun/moon/roof drains, and I agree an a/c drain would NOT get the drivers side wet, If this is a warrantee car, then DO NOT give up at the dealer, most states have a lemon law, if they cant fix it in a set number of visits, they have to replace the car! Check with your states Attorney Generals office. Also check the trunk/hatch seal see if it's wet back there too.
