The auto shutdown relay can be tested by

MFI RELAY (ASD RELAY) AND FUEL PUMP RELAY CHECK

Remove the relay.
Check that there is continuity between (4) and (6) terminals.
Standard value: 35 - 75 ohms
Use jumper leads to connect relay terminal No. 6 to the battery (+) terminal and terminal No. 4 to the battery (-) terminal.
Check the continuity between relay terminal No. 2 - 8 while connecting and disconnecting the jumper lead at the battery (-) terminal.
Jumper lead Continuity between terminals No. 2 - 8
Connected Continuity (0 ohms)
Disconnected No continuity (infinite ohms)

If there is a defect, replace the MFI (ASD) relay or fuel pump relay.

The picture didnt attach, so numbers are as follows
hold the relay in your hand, looking at the bottom prongs. The 2 molded tabs should be on top. I hope this makes sense.

Anyways, its in a series from left to right, top to bottom
