I have a problem. A week ago, the bolt on my one of my control arms came undone and popped off. As a result the drive axle bearings came out, leaving just the hub lodged in my transmission. I was going about 3 miles an hour when it occured. I've been trying to get it out without success. We've pushed, pulled, pried, turned, and in the end, gave it dirty looks. Yet it remains! Everywhere I've called, has told me it should just pop out, you just need leverage. We even drilled holes in it and hooked up to a jack, and it still wont come out. Am I doing something wrong. If I am, then can you tell me what?

Sounds like you're doing it right, but I've never had one that stubborn. There is a shoe available to go behind the housing that is threaded to a slide hammer. I've never needed to use one but I've seen other people fight with them.

When you put any suspension bolts back in, don't tighten them until the car is sitting at normal ride height on the tires. This will prevent clamping the rubber bushings with a permanent twist in them.
