I have had my 1996 Dodge Avenger for over 4 years, with not many problems. The other day my car started for about 3 seconds, then died. I had the battery checked and spark plugs, both were fine. Can smell gas, so dont think its the fuel pump. It cranks over and sounds like it wants to start, but doesn't. What would you recommend doing?
