Okay, I am in Australia my system I use here will only I'd Australian cars and the site I have access to here at 2carpros has US access so your VIN is not in any system I have access too. Have you tried your dealer to see if the VIN is active in there system? I have see VIN', deleted from data bases if the car had been an insurance write off during its life, worth checking with your dealer first to see if the VIN is in there data base first.

It is probably just a glitch in the tool. Happens with other scan tools as well. My Autel will decode the VIN in my 02 Chevy but my Verus wont do an auto ID on it.

I think you need to make sure that you got the VIN right on the car and not what's in the papers or on any site. Verify the VIN on the dashboard and/or the right front shock tower.
