Dashboard lights not working properly after the vehicle was under water?

2003 d22 went under water for about an hour all working and okay just can't seem to get some lights on the dashboard to turn off when the keys off and out.

Yep, the instrument cluster does not like water. I would remove it and get a rebuilt unit. Here is how to do the job in the images below. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem. You can find a rebuilt unit by searching Google or Ebay.

Hi Ken, the problem is the instrument cluster didn't go under and lights that are staying on are seat belt. Oil and the handbrake but only slightly for the handbrake, seat belt goes off when there strapped in and there's plenty of oil in her.

Okay, so it sounds like the IPDM is out or still wet, it is solid state and does not like water, I would try to dry it out here is the location of the IPDM, disconnect the battery first and let me know how it goes. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
