My dashboard is dark doesn't light up. Can't tell how fast I'm going and how much gas I have. I checked fuses they seem okay, but not sure.

Hello,

This is common when the headlight switch goes out. Here is how you replace it:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove upper console, if equipped.
2. Remove accessory trim plate as follows:
a. Pry steering column collar rearward, using a suitable tool, and remove.
B. Remove outer air deflectors, then the two screws behind the deflector openings.
C. Remove screw from behind steering column collar.
D. On models less console, open ashtray and remove trim plate attaching screws.
E. On models with console, remove four screws from ashtray trim cover, then ashtray trim cover. Remove trim plate attaching screws.
F. On all models, pull trim plate rearward to release clips, then remove trim plate.
3. Remove 3 switch to panel attaching screws.
4. Pull switch rearward and remove from panel.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

Please let us know what happens.

Thank you. The car is in my garage in Florida right now I'm in New York. I will try that when I get down there.
