I recently did a head gasket replacement on this vehicle. Everything seemed to work out fine until I heard a gurgling sound and also saw some steam coming from where I put the oil. In other words the oil canal. At first I thought it was another blown head gasket problem because I could see a yellowish creamy color around the oil cap. But I noticed I had no white smoke from exhaust and the cars temperature was staying steady. I am dumbfounded looking for help. Never ran into this kind of problem before. Could my head cylinder and or camshaft cause this?

Hello,

Yes, the cylinder head could have a hairline crack in it allowing coolant to leak through and mix with the oil. I personally have had this problem before and it can be frustrating to diagnose. You should check your oil on the vehicle's dipstick. If it looked like coffee with creamer in it then you know that you have coolant and oil mixing together. Please check the condition of the oil and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
