Throttle body not opening allowing air to enter. Car just would not start one morning. Have replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. Have checked all fuses and relays, all appear to be good. Car will attempt to start if you spray starting fluid into the throttle body but will not catch and start. Have fuel pressure on rail. Car ran fine before this with no issues. Seriously considering taking it to the crusher. Just have no idea what is going on with it. Hooked up code reader to it and it keeps telling me that it cannot connect to vehicle. Have tried two separate readers and get the sAmerican from both. It is almost like it is just not getting enough fuel to push it that little bit more that it needs to start. Please any help or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated at this point. Thank you kindly.

So is the gas gauge working power door locks key-less entry etc? Is the security light on solid or flashing on the dash with the key in the run position? It is really common for the body control module to fail and the car will not start and the code reader will not talk to the engine control module.

Hi and thanks for the reply. All gauges and locks and lights, etc. Are working. I am not really sure about the security light. When all this first happened; the car would not start so I kept bumping the key over and over again, maybe ten to twenty times and eventually the car would start. Then after three days of doing it that way, I drove to my daughter's house, about a thirty minute drive, was there for approximately three hours, went outside to leave and the car would not start. Tried for probably an hour or so. Have not been able to get it started since. Thanks again for all your knowledge. It is very much appreciated as I am about ready to get me a match.

See if the security light is on solid or flashing on the dash with the key in the run position? Also the engine control modules go out on those cars as well and you will get no start and can't get the code reader to link.
