Good evening,

I have noticed drops of coolant on the plastic shield under the radiator area on the very underside of the car. The radiator is full. The coolant level in the reservoir drops a bit after each drive. The upper hose appears okay. Does anyone have any ideas where the drops may be from? Is this something that a stop leak type of product would help? Thank you.

Hello, I'm Danny.

The worst thing to do is use stop leak products. It clogs up the cooling system and makes the cooling system compromised. I would suggest performing a cooling system pressure test. It is basically a pump that pressurizes the system with the engine off and cold to see where leaks are coming from. Auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

Once you perform this if you can make a video with your cell phone of the leaks and we will help with giving you repair advice and guides. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
