Guy said it had been sitting for a while. Transmission was redone had receipts for proof. It started to mess up when I would drive I would lose acceleration rpm was going up but I was going 3mph. Check engine and TCS light came on and read a p0740. I had transmission flushed and the mechanic said he could not change filter. I was a little upset about that. So 60 miles later light comes on. My car jerks when I press on gas. And it is making a noise when I shift into reverse.

P0740 Torque Converter Clutch - Circuit Malfunction
Setting for a while is not good, it can cause a LOT of problems. I would check over the wiring on the transmission for corrosion or damage. If you find nothing take it to a trans shop and see if the TCC is actually engaging.

As for the filter, it requires the transmission be removed and taken apart to replace the internal filter. Just be sure to only use the Honda/Acura trans fluid, not some generic version, it can damage the transmission.
