I plan on doing away with the smog/emissions on my truck. There is a plate under the carburetor with a wire connected to it what is this? Also did a EGR delete with a plate. What all can be unhooked on the intake manifold? There is a plug and I backed it out and antifreeze came out so I put it back in and also plugged exhaust manifold EGR ports. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

If you are doing away with the EGR, put a delete plate where the EGR valve goes onto the throttle body at. Plug the tube where the EGR tube comes off the manifold. Plug the vacuum hose that is supplying vacuum to the EGR valve. I have included in the diagrams down below a description of all the parts of the carburetor Please go through the guide and get back to us with what you are able to figure out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
