is it ok to put radiator fan on a switch inside car if this is the only way to get it to work bypassing switch on radiator

You can wire a switch direct ! If you do wire it direct you have to make sure you turn it off when engine not running or it will flatten battery . Or check/replace the coolant temp sensor which sends the signals to the fan switch !
