1998 Citroen Saxo overheating

1998 Citroen Saxo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 98000 miles
my car is overheating and da heaters are not workin. i changed da thermostat but that didnt fix da heating and i got a new pressure cap cause da water was coming through da old 1!! any ideas wat is wrong?

the cooling system may have a clog in it and need flushed. also ensure that the radiator fan(s) come on properly
