2003 Citroen C3 battery

Hi, i need to renew the battery on the c3 , and will need to take it off for a long period, about two days in all.
will it be ok when i replace it for the new as i understand that the electronics are rather prone to play about when things are subject to being tampered with i.e. if radios are changed etc etc as i have read on different forums.
will i need to have the computor updated when it is replaced or will it be ok.

you will need the radio code when re-installing new batttery .. the computer will not need re-setting .. but you will have to drive the vehicle in normal, everyday traffic conditions for it to relearn it's settings (drive cycle)
