Hey S Cannizzo,
The coolant temperature sensor is on the cylinder head near the firewall near the back of the motor. I have included both engine diagrams in case anyone else needs the diagram since I was in there anyway. The sensor size is 3/4 so if you have a deep well socket or a wrench you will be able to remove it easily. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed. Here is a video that show the job being done on a different car but the procedure is the same.
