MY POWER DOOR LOCKS DIED. I PULLED OUT THE IOD FUSE AND PUT IT BACK IN. IT MAKES THE LOCKS WORK FOR A SHORT TIME, THEN THE DIE AGAIN. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?

Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes. If that doesn't help, I believe there is a TSB out regarding the problem. What happens is this. The BCM power locks failure detection maythinks a lock is frozen. Thus, it would overload the system and burn out the solenoid. If disconnecting the battery doesn't help, chances are the computer will need reflashed (a dealer issue).

Let me know if it works. Also, since the iod holds power, make sure the clock on the radio says 12:00 when you reconnect everything. That way you are sure it has reset.

Let me know what you find.
