The OEM manual would asks for a lot of tools. With those, it would be really easy to do the rebuild job. However, I am sure most of DIYers don't have all the tools. They're many and expensive.

So, my question is what tools most DIYers used to rebuild tranny? Where can I buy/obtain those for this model of the car?

Another way to look at it is which tools are essential, and which ones can be skipped (although a bit harder/longer to get it done). Also, substitution tools that can do the jobs. Some vendors such as Harborfreight has cheap tools that probably can do many of those. However, I rather hear from someone who knows about this.
