2001 Chrysler Town and Country transmission in "limp m

Hello,
I am getting codes p0601 and p0700, and the van is in "limp mode" what can I do before I take this to the dealer and they drain my bank account. I have changed the filter and fluid, disconnected the battery, tried to have the codes cleared and the problem and codes still exsist. Also all the gear indicators have boxes around them as if the tranny is in that gear.

P0601 is a tcm (trans control module failure) cant tell you what a p700 is. Possible tcm problem

Hi, I am having the same code on my 2006 T&C. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I looked up this code and found two finds (1) Transmission Control System Malfunction (2) Transmission Computer or Aisin Computer has a problem (what ever that is?). Hope this helps! I will post what the dealership has to say about my P0700 code.
