My wife's 2000 Town and Country recently had the air bag light come on then go off. The steering wheel controls, including horn, cruise control, radio controls have since all become inoperative. I don't know where to look to find the problem. Any history of this type of issue, and what can I do to isolate the problem and correct it. I have a Haynes manual for the vehicle, but was unable to find any useful information.

I am experiencing similiar problems.

Problem first started with a "clicking" sound when I turned the steering wheel in either direction. Noise seemed to go away after several months of existing.
Then, last week, none of my steering wheel controls including radio search, radio volume, cruise control functions and even horn quit working. These symptons occurred along with the air bag light remaining lit.

After some research (including this forum) I understand that chrysler had issued a due to a failure of the clockspring which is located under the airbag. This recall was issued in Oct of 2004.
Do a search of Ownersite. Com for further information that may be helpfull

It's in need of a new clock spring in the steering wheel. Most likely covered under a lifetime warranty
