My van stopped running. I came to a stop and it stalled the when I restarted it, It sputtered and no power. Then would only turn over but no start. I pressed the fuel relief valve and only fumes came out. I changed the timming belt it had about a half inch of play. When I installed the new one the sprocket arrows pointed at each other. And the dark links were one the dots. But still wont start. It turns over fine. But still when I press the fuel relief valve nothing comes out. Is there a reset button?

I have removed the fuel pump hooked it up to a power source it works.
My mother in law is driving us around now. Please help us.

When you first turn key in ignition without cranking, can you hear fuel pump turn on for 2 or 3 seconds? If not, check fuse and fuel pump relay.

Ok since the fuel pump is getting power and running but you still don't get fuel at the rail, you will need to test the fuel pressure. If it's low then the pump is faulty and needs replaced.

Ok I changed the camshaft sensor and no there is fuel in the relief valve. However there is not spark now. When I put a voltmeter accrost the coil towers it says nothing. When I test for voltage when cranking at the tower. Nothing. The plug to the coil reads no volts when cranking.
