While driving the Instrument cluster will go dead(temprature gage, tachometer speedomeeter, gas gauge, odometer LEDs and shift indicater LEDs) . The car keeps running lights and turn signales still work. A minute or so later the ABS light comes on and then the alarm set light. If car is shut off with like this it will start but will not keep running. The way I have been fixing the problem is to give the dash a sharp blow to the left over the steering wheel. the instruments come back to live and the warning lights go out. How do I fix this ?

There is a circuit board problem in those! Whole cluster needs to be removed and the problem spot needs to be soldered.
