Electrical problem
1997 Chrysler Town and Country Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I try to start my van, it either starts fine (rarely) or it just clicks when i turn the key (mostly) the battery charge is ok, jump starting doesn't help. Occasionally when it will not start I can press the unlock button twice and it will turn over the next time i try, but that happens rarely.

Just wondering if this is a starter problem, a solenoid problem, or a much more complicated electrical problem.

I appreciate your time and I thank you for answering my inquiry.

Your probable causes here could be the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch/clutch switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. If it doesn't apply disregard it
