JUST THIS MORNING AS WE WERE GOING TO CHURCH THE CAR SEEMED SLUGGISH BACKING UP TOWARD THE STREET AND THEN STALLED OUT. IT STARTED RIGHT BACK UP BUT SEEMED AS THOUGH IT WOULD STALL OUT EASILY AGAIN UNLESS THERE WAS AT LEAST A SMALL AMOUNT OF GAS APPLIED. IT DID STALL OUT AGAIN ABOUT 3 TIMES ON THE WAY 0 ABOUT 3-4 MILES ALTOGETHER, AND WHEN IT STALLED OUT IT WAS AS WE APPROACHED A STOP, OR SLOWED FOR A TURN - AND SINCE THE POWER QUIT IMMEDIATELY AS WELL, THE STEERING ALSO WAS NOT PROVIDED POWER, SO IT IS AN URGENT CONCERN WITH REGARD TO SAFETY WHEN GOING DOWN CURVY, NARROW 2-WAY ROADS. AFTER CHURCH ON THE WAY OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY IT OCCURRED TWICE, AND THEN BY APPLYING THE GAS AS MENTIONED BEFORE WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO A PEP BOYS SHOP WHERE WE ADDED A QUART OF OIL (IT WAS DOWN ABOUT 1 1/2 Q), AND THE HAD THE SYSTEM CHECKED DUE TO A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT - THAT TURNED OUT TO BE AN O2 SENSOR ( WE HAD JUST REPLACED 1 OF THE 4 SENSORS RECENTLY - THIS IS ANOTHER ONE APPARENTLY) AND THAT PERSON WHO CHECKED IT TOLD ME IT PROBABLY WAS A VACUUM LEAK CAUSING THE STALLING OUT. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS PLEASE ??
