With the engine turned off and keys remove fron ignition, all lites off- the odometer lite remains on. This drains the battery alittle. What can I do myself before putting it in the shop, had the battery and alternator checked for proper working condition. First, I thought the battery was failing.

I would like to help but I need some info first. Is it convertable or not? If not convertable what model is it from there lx lxi or limited? Get back to me so I can look at the right wiring diagram.

Well looking over the wiring diagram it looks like it might be the BCM (Body Control Module). This controls the cluster lighting and more. If you have a digital multi meter we can run some tests if you feel comfortable enough doing that. The BCM is mounted on the fuse box inside the car on left side just behind the dash. Let me know what you would like to do.
