My oil light is coming on when my car is sitting at a stop light or in park. There is oil in the car and the light is not on when the car is moving. The light goes off as soon as you mash the accelerator. Any thoughts?

Hi there,

This may just be a faulty oil pressure sender, get the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge as this will give you a true indication as to the engine oil pressure, if pressure is OK replace the sender, if oil pressure is low, post readings for more help, start here.
