There is a green light on the dashboard that is always on - even when the car is turned off. I looked in the manual and it indicates it is for the fog lights - which I sure don't see on this car. This is my wifes car and she has indicated to me that she thought this light is to be on all the time. I can't find a way to turn it off - if indeed it should be off when he car is not running.

Also, a number of the background lights on the dash are not lit at night when we turn the headlights on. I have been looking for info on how to go about replacing these lights but am afraid it will be a PITA. Suggestions?

Yes your car does have fog lights. They are located in the front of the car below the bumper. The fog light switch is located at the tip of the turn signal arm. I had this same problem. I had to replace mine. It only cost 60 bucks. It is real easy to change, but before you change it just make use that the fog light switch is in off. If it is that means that the fog light switch is shorted out, so just change the turn signal arm. Very easy to change.
