The truck starts beautifully. After about 5 minutes the oil light and oil gauge drops to zero. Truck shuts off after this. Wait 5-10 minutes and truck will start again. Same thing happens. Help!

assumig your oil pressure is ok in your engine you need to replace the oil pressure switch. It lets the fuel pump run unless there is no oil pressure. Make sure you have oil to the full mark, and if the switch is bad or if yo have no oil pressure even if you replace the switch it will still continue to quit running. You wil need to take this to amechanic where he can check the oil pressuure as well as make the vehicle run so he can see if it has pressure. You may have a bad engine in the vehicle.
