Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I was driving down the road when I heard a noise my car died and won't start but did turn over. My son in-law found the wire that came off the power steering he plug it back in but we don't know where the othere in came off over. It looks like it came from the back or under the moter. We did notice the alternator brackit was broken but the belt is still on.

Welcome, not sure about power steering wire? If it cranks good, but won't start, have a helper crank it, while check for spark at the plugs, go from there. Also, check for trouble codes. You should be able to check for codes by cycling the ignition switch, on--off, on--off, on, then the check engine lite starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Let us know what you find.
