Engine Performance problem
1990 Chrysler New Yorker
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
My car won't start at all. There is battery power because the lights come on, the radio works. I've checked all the cables to the battery and all the others to see if they were stripped in any place, but I didn't see any that were.

When I turn the car on it doesn't turn over it just does one click.
Is this the starter?

A couple of weeks ago it was hard to start and it would take a couple of tries, and then one time it just didn't start.

Do this hold key at start position and bang on the starter-if it engages the engine replace it-if not look for power at the starter solenoid brown wire, also see below to troubleshoot
