Transmission problem
1986 Chrysler New Yorker 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have replaced several driver side seals and they only last a few miles and then they leak again. I have been told that it could be the vent pipe but I can not locate it. Can you tell me where it is located and how to replace it?

No vent tube what's happening is differential output bearing worn allowing axle to move in eliptical patteren taking out seal lip to axle fit and fluid comes out.
