If there is any green fluid(or red coolant) leaking, anywhere visible, we pump the system up to its operating pressure shown on the radiator cap, the tool is called a cooling system pressure tester. It give a clar picture of the exact leak, and with high mileage it could be the water pump, intake, heads or front cover. It depends on the engine size and the problems you face whether or not to do all the top and front leaking areas. Which engine? They have a great site for service instructions when you are sure of the gasket that is leaking by pressure test or identification. See how to repair or service on the left side of this page.
The "site menu". Ok
