1995 Chrysler LHS car dies and restarts

i have a 1995 chrysler lhs that i just bought of my g/fs dad when he had it he would drive it for awhile and then it would die he would let it sit for a few hours and it would start again so when i got it i put a new fuel pump in it had no problems for about a week and then it did it again yesterday what should i do or what do u think the problem is

Chrysler fuel pumps rarely stop working while they're running. They always fail to start up when trying to start the engine.

Depending on which engine you have, (you didn't specify), suspect the camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor. They are often intermittent and heat sensitive.
