Transmission problem
1993 Chrysler Le Baron 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hi all. I have already donated money with this same question 7 days ago, and have not received an answer yet, so I will post it again.
when the car is cold (first start of the day), after starting and placing into drive it takes a few seconds before it shifts. Reverse is always availible and shifts smooth. After the car does shift into drive, it goes into limp mode. When I turn the car off and back on, all shifting is normal, smooth. When its been driven and sits for about an hour, it can take up to 2 minutes or more until it shifts into drive. Again shutdown and restart all is perfect. I have replaced the filter and fluid to no avail. Can someone please help me?

Clean your solenoid or replace it (and check, if there is the correct ATF+III transmission oil in it and if the oil filter is not blocked). What oil did you put in, with the wrong oil, you could destroy the transmission.
