What do you have for engine
chances is very high if timing belt brake for a bent valve

Never worked on a 4 cylinder but I think BMRFIXIT is right about the bent valves.

3.3 / 3.8L V-6 uses a timing chain. 3.0L engine is not an interference engine. A broken belt will not cause valve problems on that engine.
