When trying to start my 1994 Crysler Grand Voyager, I sometomes just get a loud click. Eventually it will start; sometimes it will start right up.
My question: I haven't worked on cars since they had carburetors and you could set the point with a matchbook, so I am a little behind the times.
Is this a starter problem? In the old days I would have suspected the bendix. Do these starters have a separate bendix or is it part of the starter.
And finally, and quite dumbly... where is the starter on this engine? Is it best accessed from the bottom?

Thnaks !
