I'm currently driving my father's van and it stop on me. It wont start, it tries to and I'm been told it is a fuel pump problem. I need help in where to go on this. Is there any way to check to see if it is that?

Well if you listen very carefully, when you turn the key from off to on(without starting) you should be able to hear the fuel pump in the gas tank, make a humming noise. Check your fuses first before anyhing. Will it take a jump start? Check all connections, and what ever you do, do not take it to a dealer, they will rip you off with their pricing, it is rediculous. You will also need to check to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel, I will send you a link that will show you the easy way of doing this.
