my car over heats and dies&water comes out my tell pipe

i have a 97 concord with 170000 miles with a 3.7 motor and it over heats and cuts off and water comes out of the tell pipe i just want to know if this means that my motor is gone or is it something small

I would have it pressure tested to find where the leak is coming from the engine the head/block/gasket. If its coming from the block forget it----
