Lxi

I own a 1998 Concorde LXI, Engine 3.2 with 62,000 miles on it. On Tuesday, I was driving in to work and the speedodmeter quit working, the check engine light came on and it seems as if the car is not getting out of 2nd gear.

What could be causing this?

Thanks

I would first go to autozone get code scanned, My guess would be youre speed sensor is no good.

Thanks! You were exactly right. Replaced the input/output speed sensors and speedometer now works and transmission shifts normally. Your technical expertise is truly appreciated.
