1999 Chrysler Concorde 120,000 miles 3.2

When we turn the key it will not activate the starter. At this time it only happens when the car sits for a long period time, ie 8 hrs. Will finally start after turning the key approximately 4-5 times. Dash lights work when trying to start car. Please advise. Thank you.

Check starter relay

and also may need a starter
