A stuck thermostat will cause the vehicle to overheat and make heater blow cool air. How long ago did the thermostat get replaced?

You can test your heater core by feeling the 2 hoses. They should both be warm to the touch. If one is and other isn't, then the heater core needs replaced. This is a costly repair though so eliminate all other possibilities first.

Your coolant level at proper level? This could also cause heater issues and overheating.
