Yesterday I notice my cliemate control system was automatically changing settings. It would go from 65 to 79. It would go from no defrost to rear defrost. Also the Air Bag light was on. Later in the day, when I tapped the cool setting nob my gages would go dead no speedometer, no gas gage.

Today I have no temperature control and the gages sometimes go dead. I read on the forum that it might be an ignition problem and I do notice that when I move the key slightly when the gages are dead, that they work again, but the cliemate control is still unresponsive.

Where do you think the problem is, ignition or cliemate control and is there a way to diagnose?

Thanks

Is your check engine light on? If yes turn the key from off to on three times, on the fourth one leave it in the on position, the codes will display on the odometer, write em down and post em. Do this even if the light is off.
