I have a BIG issue I recently did a transmission fluid and filter change by myself and drove the car for about three days. On the fourth day the transmission did not go into reverse nor did it shift out of low. I can put it in Overdrive it will take off but when it shifts out of first it does not go into second I then have to shut it off and restart it to get it back into low. What do I do to fix this issue

It seems like there might be an issue with the transmission after performing the fluid and filter change on your 1994 Chrysler Concorde. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Verify fluid level and condition: Check the transmission fluid level to ensure it is at the correct level. Also, inspect the fluid's condition to see if it is clean and free from contaminants. Low fluid level or contaminated fluid can cause shifting issues. If the fluid level is low, top it up to the appropriate level using the recommended fluid type.

Check for any leaks: Inspect the transmission and surrounding areas for any signs of fluid leaks. Leaks can lead to fluid loss and result in improper transmission operation. Repair any leaks found and ensure the fluid level is maintained.

Double-check the filter installation: Revisit the transmission filter replacement you performed and verify that the filter was installed correctly. Make sure it is securely in place and properly aligned. Improper filter installation can cause fluid flow issues, leading to shifting problems.

Inspect the transmission shift linkage: Check the shift linkage for any damage, misalignment, or loose connections. Ensure that the linkage is properly adjusted and allows for full range of motion. Faulty or misadjusted shift linkage can prevent the transmission from engaging the correct gears.

Perform a transmission reset: Sometimes, performing a transmission reset can help resolve shifting issues. To do this, disconnect the vehicle's battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. This can reset the transmission control module and potentially resolve minor glitches.
