Steering problem
1999 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello,
I recently replaced the struts and strut mounting plates on my car. But for some reason when I hit a major bump I still hear a noise like metal bumping metal. Also also when I hit a bump/dip while making a turn my steering goes the opposiite direction, almost as if it has a mind of its own. What could possibly be the problem?

Yes it made a different noise before the struts put in, also while hitting bumps at high speeds.
