Electrical problem
1998 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

when I tried to start the car, there was no re action. There was no noise at all, such as a clicking when the battery is low/dead. Also, when I turn key to accessory, I get no reaction. The dome lights do work. I had just driven the car about an hour before this happened and had no indciation of low battery, etc.

Did you check the main fusible link under the hood? Since the key doesn't even turn the dash, I suspect bad connection. It could be the main fusible link, there are two other fuses that control the ignition key. You may also had had loose battery connection, either at the battery terminals or under the hood at the jumping station..
