Electrical problem
1996 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

1996 Chrysler Cirrus won't start only when it rains....occassionally when it does start in the rain...it will sputter and die and then won't start...try it again in a day or two and it starts and runs great. Not sure if it is 6 or 8 cylinder...but it's the engine that is peppy.

After the coil releases the spark, the ignition secondary spark begins. Out of the coil, into the cap, thru the rotor to the plugs. Change these parts, it's usually these. The voltage is so high, any slight leak in the insulation sends the spark to the wrong place.
