I have a 1996 chrysler cirrus 4 cylinder automatic that I just bought from this guy, he said it had a small tranny fluid leak occasionally well we towed the car home. After replacing the battery I drove it 4 miles when it started smoking bad all the fluid was gone, I bought more tranny fluid and drove it again it smoked again after a few miles. You could actually see the fluid on the road a consistant stream from my driveway and around the block. I cannot see where the leak is any suggestions I live in mechanicville ny thanks michelle

Your vehicle should be equipt with a transmission oil cooler, located in the radiator itself. There are lines that run from the transmission to the radiator left hand side. Check these first, they would leak and not be near the transmttion.
Let me know if you have any questions.

ps, I would not reccomend driving the vehicle any distance low onfluid, you could seriously shorten the life of the transaxle.
