Engine Performance problem
1995 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Automatic 180000 miles

My car tends to stall when I come to a complete stop. This only happens when the weather is hot outside.

I haven't had this problem for the fall/winter/spring but with summer coming I am concerned. When I start the car first thing in the morning it drives fine. If I make a few stops in between that is when the problem will start. Last summer, I had to idle from N to D, just to make it back home.

FYI: My car gets very bad gas mileage, ~16 MPG.

I am thinking of tackling/checking these sensors in this order: Idle Air control Valve, Coolant Temp Sensor, Air Charge temp Sensor, and Map Sensor.

What do you think?
