Chrysler Overhead Display Battery Drain?

We just discovered that while this car is parked with the ignition off, the overhead display (that which shows time, date, temp, compass, car issues) turns on and off by itself!

Initially we replaced a dead battery, but thought nothing of it since it was well over the warranty age. Then the new replacement battery died after about a week. We removed the battery cables and tested for a battery drain with an ohm-meter checking all the fuses. Nothing was amiss. So we replaced the replacement battery with yet another new battery. No problems for the last 10 days.

Then this morning, hubby spotted the overhead display going on and off in the parked vehicle. Could this be the reason for the last dead battery? Should we be expecting problems ahead? And, since all the fuses tested out fine, what could we look at for this mysterious behavior?
Thanks in advance.

Ive seen problems with both the ignition switch and BCM (body control module) that will do what you are describing. Sometimes when the BCM starts going out it will turn itself on intermittently. The ignition switches are more of a design problem than anything
