Heater blows cold air, how do you check to see if the blend door is stuck and or check the heater core to see if it is bad?

Why don't you replace the thermostat for a start and see what happens, at the heater core the hoses should be equally hot, not warm and hot

If the thermostat, heater core, coolant level okay-could be the heater control valve if it has one and door problems such as air mix/blend/mode, vacuum and actuator and HVAC control valve.
